Cherry Blossom Spring 2025 – Best Spots by Bike
It`s time! The forecast for Korea`s Cherry Blossom Season 2025 has been released!
Code fluffy pink madness! It`s everybody`s favourite time of the year as the weather is perfect, the birds start chirping and the flowers start blooming… Oh, and the cyclists awake from their winter sleep. It`s most definitely our team`s favourite time to ride a bike! In this blog, I hope to introduce some of the best spots in and out of Seoul to enjoy by bike, but don`t worry pedestrians can get there too! First, let`s start with the predictions!
Seoul Cherry Blossom Top Spots by bike!
1. Han River RidingPlenty of cherry blossom trees along the Han River and it`s most famous parks. Yeouido Han River Park has the most famous Cherry Blossom street (여의도벚꽃길), but elsewhere the trees line up quite nicely, without the insane crowds you will experience at Yeouido. If you can, avoid the weekends!
2. Namsan Seoul Tower (남산벚꽃길)
Peaking slightly later than other spots in Seoul, this uphill has reached a cult status amongst cyclists in Seoul. In the beginning of April, you can conquer the car-free hill whilst enjoying the beautiful Cherry Blossoms along the tree! By mid-April, the falling cherry petals will cheer you on to new heights!
There`s a reason why our morning e-bike tour goes through this neighbourhood all year long. It`s one of Seoul`s most authentic villages with nice little shops, Tongin Market and hidden top bars. In April the centre of town transfers into a cherry blossom hotspot for perfect small street cruising. From the West Village you can continue riding to the Blue House (청와대) for more blossoming trees!

Rent. Ride. Eplore! Why not rent a bike and get out of Seoul for a day or more! You get to see the beauty of early spring in Korea in a more peaceful environment!
1. Yeomtijae (염티재)
This climb close to Daejeon is a hidden gem for Cherry Blossom cycling! Whilst the climb is not challenging, you get the reward of enjoying spring blossoms in full glory! Continue your ride with the Daecheong Lake Cherry Blossom street (대청호벚꽃축제) and the Daecheong Dam Cherry Blossom street (대청댐벅꽃길) for a full day of pink enjoyment!
You can start this ride from Seoul, but if you wish to take your time, you can hop on the ITX to Chuncheon and get off at Cheongpyeong Station (청평역) for example. The main highlight of this ride might be at the Eden Cherry Blossom Street (에덴벚꽃길), which is close to Gapyeong and Nami Island. It is super accesible by bike and the perfect alternative to the well-known spots! Continue your ride to Chuncheon for some delicious stir-fried chicken (Dalkgalbi)!
