Discover Korea on 2 wheels riding along the country`s most famous bicycle route!
Our Seoul to Busan cycling holiday is 7 days of riding but a 9-day guided tour experience!

The package begins with an afternoon Ebike tour, orientation and fitting and a comfortable night at the Silla stay hotel in Seoul.
All meals, drinks, accommodation and transfers are included in the package from this point.
We ride 70-90km per day with regular stops to enjoy sites of interest and connect with the people of Korea. Along the way we see the hidden beauty of Korea, dine on a mushroom farm, create our own Korean paper, visit ancient temples and shrines, go for karaoke, and much more.. We eat Koreas most famous foods , go to a private Korean spa, and experience epic views at the right time of the day. Our accommodation varies from 4 star hotels to luxury B&Bs, traditional Hanoks even a cycling motel! Most importantly, they all have a fun and unique character in commen and offer comfort at the end of our cycling days.
A support car is present at all times for luggage transfers, refreshments, cycling assistance and emergency. Tour ends with a celebration night near the beach in Busan and a day of exploring the second biggest city of Korea followed by KTX back to Seoul.

The level of this cycling holiday is easy-going. No major mountains (but a few punchy hills!) and the elevation is overall down hill!
With over 550km of cycling, this cycling holiday is a big challenge! A challenge we take on together!

⚑ WeRide Guided E-Bike Tour
We welcome you at the very first hotel and get ready for an exciting look into the old city of Seoul.
Our first activity is an e-bike ride which provides a combination of absolute highlights of the city, hidden alleyways, and undiscovered places. By starting our journey with this insider tour, you will gain insight to the city of Seoul and get a feel for the country you are about to discover. The tour is topped of with our first of many korean treats at one of our favorite local spots!

We start our cross-country adventure on a designated bike lane in the heart of the four great gates of Seoul, riding along the Cheongyecheon Stream bike lane, past the East gate and onto the majestic Han River. The Han rivers has the first of 4 famous cycle paths, which provide us with worry-free riding from Seoul all the way to Busan. The first part of the ride is a local snacks before continuing through a funky lit tunnel and onwards to a special lunch! After a hearty Korean knife cut noodles soup, we continue along the cycle path, enjoying dramatic views over the river. We end at a beautiful ancient temple founded in the 6th century and take accommodation nearby for our very first night on tour.

Another exciting ride along the Han River, where we leave the final outskirts of Seoul and get into the heart of Korea! Our first stop of the day is a traditional tea place housed inside an abandaoned elementary school, with plenty of stuff to see and to talk about! After a local favorite (Mokguksu) for lunch, we continue on a floating cycling bridge, which is bound to gradual uphill into the Hot Spring Town of Suanbo! Here we will enjoy both in – and outside spa treatments before a good night of mountain air!

After a relaxing night, we get ready for a challenging day passing by the hightest point of our tour, the Ihwaryeong Pass. But before we do so, we have a surprisingly entertaining and educationsal morning activity! We stop by the Korean traditional Paper museum and create our own bespoke traditional Korean paper! The afternoon of this day will be a true delight as we roll down towards a traditional house (Hanok) for an outstanding lunch and a little coffee, before rolling further downhill to stay in a idillic Hanok cottage with striking views and a spectacular sunset over the Nakdong River!

We pass by one of the oldest artifacts of our journey, a late 10th -century Buddha carving, as well as some of the beautiful dams of the Nakdong River. We stop for another lunch with local produce, before riding into the old city of national defense! Some of the highlights in the defense against Japanese pirates include Baekpo Mountain Fortress, Mt, Jako and the Patriots Memorial. These monuments are just on the edge of our town for the night, where we will enjoy another Korean feast!

As we continue meandering along the stunning Nakdong River, we are in for one of the most beautiful riding days! We start our day in a traditional Korean Hanok village, but the next stop is a complete contrast. The Arc is a modern architectural masterpiece on the confluence with the Geumho River coming from Daegu. We, however, continue southwards along the Dalseong Wetlands and just after lunch we stop by for sampling session of local desserts at an open-air market! We end the day at a tiny, locally-run luxury B&B with private pool in the Upo Wetlands park for a peacefull night.

We start the day cruising trough the beautiful Upo wetland nature reserve and continue through the farmlands before connecting back with the Nakdong River for a varied riding day! Waiting for you is another exciting day as we pass by one of the most aestethically pleasing coffee houses in South Korea! We end the ride with a well deserved rider’s-favorite; `The Korean beef (Hanwoo) Supper`, where we BBQ our way through the local speciality beef of South Korea! Traditionally, this evening ends with a local pub or even some karaoke! Alternatively, you can take your towel and join the locals in the sauna above our hotel!

Almost there! Just under 70 kilometers separate us from our final destination, Busan! You can almost smell the sea and hear the seagulls at this point. One last hilly challenge awaits you, but don;t dispair, it is worth the climb! The cherry tree lined road up is picturesque and shaded and the your glorious decent is punctuated with epic views over Busan city and down into the bussling port city of Busan! We ride along the city stream bike lane to Gwangalli Beach, a local favorite and we are sure you will understand why! We end our cycling journey with a victory dinner and drinks looking over the beach and the dramatic backdrop of Busan’s most famous bridge!

The journey is not over just yet! We spend a day exploring some our our favorite neighborhoods in Busan, sampling the local delicacies, seeing the local fish traders at work and picking up a bit of the famous local dialect. We also have an optional hike to a spectacular view spot in the hills.. if you still have the legs for it! The KTX highspeed train brings us back to Seoul in the early evening, where it is finally time to say goodbye! Alternatively, you can choose to spend a few more days in Busan or even take the boat to Japan!
